today i picked up my uniform. and i look like a certified dork. eww. anyway, there was like 3 pinoys working. and i know another pinay named victoria who’ll work there as well. seems like it’s going to be a blast. :P
seems like sears didn’t want me. :( maybe it’s because i didnt have experience in retail. i mean she already told me that in the beginning. but she did say she liked me. it was a good experience anyway.
today, a random number called my phone. i knew it was a job interview call. i got so excited. and then i answered. she asked me if i was still looking for a job. and i said yes. and she said can you come today at 4. and of course i said “sure!!” after i hanged up, i was like “wait a minute what time is it?” and it was 3:20. LOL. i ran to my closet and looked for my interview clothes. my hair was a disaster so i just put it in a bun and wore light make-up. i got there around 3:50 pm. 10 minutes advanced because im a pro. HAHA. interview went so smoothly that i almost forgot that i was being interviewed. she said that i talked a lot and i like to smile so much which was definitely a good thing in interviews. so kudos for God for making me like this :D haha so she definitely liked me. and she gave me this application form. and left me. after filling up papers, she came again and brought another paper. so she sat down and said ” we normally don’t do this but, YOU’RE HIRED! i mean it usually takes us 2-3 days to decide if we should hire someone or not but i think you have the potential” I HAD THE SILLIEST SMILE ON MY FACE WHEN SHE SAID THAT. I FELT SO DORKY. but o well :D so she started giving me the information how employment process works. tomorrow i have to go back and sign the I-9 form and turn in the certificate for the food service. and then, on thursday i’m going to an orientation at parthenia mcdonald’s. i feel so blesseddd. this is amazing!!!!!! today juan didnt bring his car. instead, he brought his truck! it was spacious! anyway, before they picked me up. they asked me to bring them food. so i brought cookies and popcorn!
and then, kevin happened to have his class cancelled so he followed us. we met at csun. along with the other peeps. met tuesy new gf. she’s so cool :D
